1ozfreeze-dried strawberry slices
9ozchocolate chips or chocolate bar of choiceno nuts or fruit. If using chocolate chips, this is approximately 1-1/2 cups
chopped nuts, dried fruit or sprinkles for sprinkling on top of chocolate, if desired
Instructions
Melt chocolate chips or chocolate bar in the microwave or in a double boiler. If using the microwave, heat in bursts of 30 seconds, stirring between bursts. Do not overheat once melted. If using a double boiler, stir often and remove from heat once melted.
Dunk strawberry pieces into the chocolate and lay them out onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat until all strawberries are covered. Top with chopped nuts, dried fruit or sprinkles, if desired.
Allow chocolate to harden in the fridge for one hour. Once fully solidified, move pieces to an air-tight container in the fridge or freezer for storage. They keep for several weeks, or in the freeze for up to a month.
